2017 Gift Guides: For All the Guys on Your List

I’ve gotten quite good at picking out the perfect thing for my husband (if I don’t say so myself) but most of the other men on my list are the hardest to shop for. My Dad claims he never needs anything, my brother Steve likes to pick things out which takes away the element of surprise, and my brother Craig never needs anything because my sister-in-law is such a good gift giver! Here’s to hoping this list will make it easier for you to find the perfect thing for one of the guys on your list.

Clockwise from top left:

As we started to talk about our packing list for the holidays, it occurred to me that my husband doesn’t have a nice pair of gloves. It’ll be chilly in both spots we’re traveling to (East Coast + London) so I may need to gift him these Barbour Leather Gloves a tad early. ($89)

This classic raglan-sleeve, crew neck sweatshirt is the perfect post-surf layer that is made with a cozy heavy terry fleece and features a lightweight rib at neck, sleeve opening and hem. It’s from Mollusk, a surf shop in the Sunset that we pop into frequently. ($80)

Paul Smith just does formal wear so well. We have a strong of weddings coming up and I’d love to gift my husband either one of these ties: Floral Tie + Mini Dot Tie (both $125)

My husband’s favorite pomade now comes in a three-pack with three different types. I personally love the retro packaging of the Byrd Pomade Sampler. ($14)

Each year, I gift my dad something from Artifact Uprising. One year it was a book of photos from our family trip to Italy, another a calendar full of photos of his grandkids. It never fails and is fun for me to put together!

My brother Craig lives in London where the popularity of the royal family goes well beyond the fascination with the Kardashians in the States. He’s competitive, so I think he’d enjoy Royal Bingo, which features portraits of 64 royal icons from around the world - from William and Kate to more exotic courts. ($25)

My brother Steve is always looking for the perfect t-shirt - and we both love grey. This Heavy Seas Tee is super soft and will remind him of the beach (he lives in Texas). ($32)

Everlane is one place I can shop for every guy on my list. They’re new cashmere is super affordable. I’d honestly gift my husband, dad, and brothers this Cashmere Crew (here in Black Donegal). ($100)

Do you find shoes is something your husband or brother doesn’t buy themselves? Just me? Either way, these New Balance for J. Crew 791 Leather Sneakers might be under the tree this year. ($75)
