2017 Gift Guides: Hostess Gifts & Holiday Home Decor

I have to admit that I like finding the perfect gifts much more than I enjoy receiving them, and am known to pick up gifts throughout the year when I find just the right thing for someone on my list. So I really enjoy putting these gift guides together, and shop via some of my favorite bloggers gift guides (looking at you Joanna Goddard and Bradley Agathar).

I’m kicking off my guides this year with hostess gifts since holiday party season really shifts into high gear post-Thanksgiving. We have two holidays parties next Friday and are hosting 12 on Saturday. Eeeps. This is one list I may be shopping myself!

Clockwise from top left:

A festive Magnolia Wreath that will last for a minimum of four years! ($92)

This gorgeous Deep Jade Serving Tray will work for the holidays and beyond. I love anything marbled and this is handmade in Sweden. ($44)

Speaking of gorgeous: these Amalfi Napkins from Heather Taylor home ($82 for a set of 4). I discovered Heather Taylor through Cupcakes and Cashmere and met her at West Coast Craft last weekend. She’s as lovely as her designs.

I like holiday decor that can work beyond the month of December, like this Peace Sign. It could work as a holiday centerpiece and find a home on a bookshelf throughout the year. ($50)

Williams-Sonoma The Original Peppermint Bark is so delicious and pretty when set out. A no-fail hostess gift. ($29)

Give a gift for every generation: Talking Tables Decades of Fun Trivia Cards. They span the swinging 60s, psychedelic 70s, awesome 80s, and naughty 90s. ($15)

Bottom row:

I might have to snag these Deer Antler Cocktail Napkins for the party we’re hosting. ($15 for a set of 20)

I just can’t with these Wreath Name Place Cards. ($6 apiece)

And this Happy Holidays Doormat from OlivePaperCompany is a gift that can be used year after year. ($45)
