4th of July Picks

It’s been a looooong week and I’m looking forward to a long weekend, especially because we’ll be spending the first few days camping with friends in Sequoia National Park, in the southern Sierra Nevada mountains. Truth be told, I wear a lot of white and blue year-round, and have started to wear more red, so 4th of July packing is usually easy for me. In my dreams I’d be picking up a few new things for our camping trip and then a few more for when we return to San Francisco for the rest of the long weekend.

Everyone needs a little white dress for summer. The Madewell Jeanette Eyelet Shift incorporates two huge summer trends: eyelet and tassels. The Chelsea One Piece from Solid & Striped is the perfect 4th of July suit, especially when paired with Loeffler Randall’s Starla Flat Sandals (I mean, how cute are they?).

I’m constantly getting a sunburn on my scalp, so I’ll be packing a hat, but I also picked up Sun Bum’s  3 in 1 Leave-In Hair Conditioner Spray, which has UV protection.

I wear my jean jacket at least twice a week, but could use a new one to add to the rotation, and have my eyes on the Levi’s Ex-Boyfriend Trucker Jacket. For hiking, I’d pair Outdoor Voices leggings with this tie front tea from Madewell (honorable mention to this Vacation tank). And a little more blue is brought to you by my favorite sunglass brand, Le Specs.
