Mental Health Month


Did you know May is Mental Health Awareness Month? June starts tomorrow but I couldn’t let the month slip by without adding to the conversation and helping get rid of the stigma in my own small way. After years of talking about it and thinking about it, I’m finally seeing a therapist regularly. I’ve also given in to the fact that there is a lot of data showing that meditation has positive benefits on health and wellbeing, and have started small with guided morning and bedtime meditations a few times a week. Now that I’ve started to open up about it, I’ve had open conversations with friends who are going through the same thing.

I see a therapist regularly too...just as important as going to the gym to maintain physical health. Thanks for highlighting these incredibly important topic!
