Hello, March

I hate to wish the months away (you know that saying, the days are the long but the years are short), but I'm happy to have a fresh month ahead of us. Like I said in this post, February was a tough month, but there's a lot to look forward to in March. We leave for Japan next week (!!), I turn 30 while in Tokyo (actually we'll celebrate my birthday there and it'll still be my birthday when we arrive home due to the time change, kind of trippy), and at the end of the month my whole family is getting together and I'll finally meet my nephew Henry.

I'm leaving you with a few links for the week:

A new podcast I'm adding to the queue.

I just started reading American Housewife but would love some book recs for my trip.

Loved this post on A Cup Of Jo. I think my five kitchen essentials would be a good loaf of French bread, parmesan cheese, arugula, farmer's market strawberries, and a good bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. What about you?

And loved this photo series.

And I might have to pick up this palm print iPhone case for spring.
