Weekend in Dallas

4/29/2015

If you follow us on Instagram, you'll know I spent the weekend in Dallas, Texas. My best friend got engaged in the fall and I haven't seen her yet so I flew out to celebrate and attend her bridal shower. While there, I was also able to see my other college roommate who's living in Dallas right now (before moving to Peru this summer!) and my brother (who just got the sweetest puppy). We had dinner at Sissy's, which I'd really recommend the next time you're in Dallas, drinks at the Joule, more drinks in Deep Ellum, and brunch in Klyde Warren Park

I arrived in the wee hours of the morning Saturday and had the first flight out Monday morning so I'm paying for it now, but I'd do it all over again in a second. So. Much. Fun.

See below for some links, off to have my second third cup of coffee.

Our hearts go out to everyone in Nepal. Here's a helpful article about how to donate to the earthquake relief funds.

Dan Fredinburg was climbing Mount Everest on behalf of OrphanGift in support of two Nepali earthquakes when the earthquake struck. Read about his story here and donate to support his mission here

Onto lighter things, this video made me laugh. Watch it and I dare you not to smile.

This got me worried about avocados.

Why we're all bikini ready

Speaking of #GirlPower, I loved Joanna's piece about female friendship.

Have you seen the Acne x Pottery Barn collaboration?

I found this article on resisting help from people super interesting.
