Words and Ideas.

8/12/2014

I had another post in mind for today, but it just didn't seem right. When Robin Williams left this earthly abode yesterday, it felt as if the world got significantly less funny. And really, perhaps it did. But for a man who could bring us so much delight, so much laughter, so much life, we (the citizens of the world) couldn't do the same for him. Maybe that is why his death feels particularly devastating. He had the unique ability to make us laugh, cry, wonder and dream. And yet here we are, the ones left standing.

Yes, we'll weep, but in the end we won't be able to help ourselves. We'll laugh. And it'll feel good.

Rest in Peace, Mr. Williams.

Agree. I just find it so ironic. He will be deeply missed.

what makes me angry is the press conference held earlier today, why did we need to know how his life ended, was it that important? he had such a positive effect on people through his movies and comedies just leave it at that

A fitting tribute to a wonderful man.
