San Fancisco Apartment Tour

7/17/2014

When we found out we were officially moving to San Francisco, things moved pretty quickly and we couldn't find a block of days to travel to the Bay Area to look at apartments. We relied on friends to find us an apartment, sending them listings and trusting their judgement on the final apartment.

To say we lucked out is an understatement. Our apartment is light and bright, with the classic bay windows I'd hoped we could have, enough storage to fit all of our wedding presents (not an easy feat), and shared yard with a garden (again, not very common). We're in a neighborhood called NOPA or Western Addition, right next to Alamo Square and a few blocks from lower Pac Heights on one side and the panhandle to Golden Gate Park on the other.

Our couch wouldn't fit through the 1920s door frame so we had to sell it and get a new one (the leather one pictured above from Port & Manor in San Rafael), but otherwise we're settling in nicely. More photos to come (like of our cozy bedroom and cute bathroom).
