Post Weekend

6/16/2014

Did you all have a nice Father's Day? We spent the weekend in Burbank with my extended family (aunt, cousins, grandpa). It was really nice. Hectic at times with the kids, who were in a new place, and routines basically went out the window, but it is so nice getting out of the comfort zone sometimes.

Highlights
Rigatoni with homemade meat sauce
Mila and Phoenix playing with their cousin, Anthony
30 minutes of girl chat with my cousin, Angela
A glass or two (but who's counting) of cold white wine on a warm L.A. evening
Seeing Matt unwrap his present: The above photo of our two little rugrats. ;)

P.S. My aunt and her husband own a house in Kern County, where a large wildfire is raging. Please keep everyone there in your thoughts.
