DIY: Dip Dye

I love the dip dye trend, and after pinning more than a handful of DIY projects on Pinterest I thought I'd try my non-crafty hand at painting some worn wooden salad tongs. I love the neon pink and bright turquoise dip dyed items I see, but the majority of our dishes are white and, if I'm being honest, white paint was on sale. They turned out so well I just might add some navy stripes to them or make some place mats (how gorgeous are these?).

I swear this was super easy, but if you're not big on DIY projects, here are a few dip dyed wood pieces, no paint required:

Serena & Lily Dip-Dyed Stools / Anthropologie Dip Dyed Pillow / Terrain Dip Dyed Bread

And in case you missed it: here's a lavender + rosemary lotion DIY from Alexa. And here's our DIY Pinterest board.
