My Perfect Sunday: Raluca from WhatWouldGwynethDo

We're so excited to have fellow San Diego blogger Raluca from WhatWouldGwynethDo stopping by to share her perfect Sunday today. To find out where her blog gets its name, check out this post.

Perfect Sunday Itinerary: A perfect Sunday would involve an early morning chai latte, magazine reading and Pinterest while my kids watch some cartoons at home, followed by a family brunch in Encinitas somewhere. If it's a sunny Sunday (and in San Diego, it's almost always a sunny Sunday) we head to the beach for a few hours and always make a pitstop at a market (we like LaCosta Farms) for fresh flowers and produce. Baking is a Sunday afternoon ritual and dinner is always at home on Sundays, giving us a chance to relax together as a family before the week begins. Once the kids are in bed, we settle in with a glass of wine, the DVR, and an early bedtime.

In case you're wondering what she'd make for dinner: A homemade roast chicken and green salad for dinner. Gwyneth's chicken recipe is the best. And always a glass of wine..or two.

And what she'd wear to the beach: J. Crew bathing suit and Brixton sun hat.

Sounds perfect!
I grew up with always having a big Sunday lunch - always roast chicken. I haven't picked up that tradition as an adult (except for when I visit my parents on Sundays) but when we have a family I just might!
