I know Vitamin C is typically what you're told you need a lot of when you're getting over a cold, but this weekend Vitamin D (sunshine) really helped me get over bronchitis. After sleeping a full 12 hours thanks to nightime cold medicine, I had an acai bowl for breakfast (tons of antioxidants; okay and granola, too) and went for my first long run since getting sick (six miles). Then Ian suggested a trip to dog beach so I threw on my oldest jean shorts, super soft gray tee (seen here), and packed my favorite beach bag with magazines. Not pictured: surfing husband.
