Okay. So there are probably five million drool - worthy desserts out there, but it's hard to think about them when you have a combination of vanilla custard and melted chocolate in your mouth. Seriously. This Boston Cream Pie recipe will have you going back for seconds and thirds.
The cool thing is it's actually a fairly simple recipe, so by some miracle of miracles I was able to whip up two Boston Cream pies (even after messing up the first one) and still was done before nap-time (the kids' not mine...I wish).
I followed my aunt's recipe, but there's a very similar one here.
P.S. I cheated and used Cook and Serve Jello Pudding mix.
