Honeymooners: Radda

The streets of Radda.
Cocktail hour. The best hour.
Unbelievable view at our hotel.
Post-wine tasting Negronis.
A little aperitivo.
The entire countryside looks like a painting come to life.
One of the best pizzas I have ever had.

After Venice, our second honeymoon spot was Radda, a small village in Chianti, about an  hour and a half outside of Florence. I mentioned that my parents honeymooned in Italy, but it's actually a family tradition because my brother Craig and sister-in-law Ryan did too. They recommended the Relais Vignale and the hotel and region was just as magical as they described. We spent three days wine tasting (here and here), eating amazing food (like the pizza pictured and pumpkin gnocchi not pictured), and getting lost driving around Tuscany.

See more photos, after the jump.

Catello di Brolio.

We got lost on our way to a winery and stopped for some lunch (and wine).
