Do you guys spend hours thinking about what your dream bathroom might look like? No? That's just me? Okay then. Actually, in all fairness, Matt is more of the bathroom design dreamer than I am. He has big plans. A gigantic piece of driftwood for the counter space. Stone floors. A dipping pool. Waterfall. You think I'm kidding with all of this right? He's actually drawn up plans.

The truth of the matter is I've sort of been ambivalent about the bathroom. My heart lies in the kitchen with a gigantic Viking Stove that I will sing to every night, because I'm pretty sure that would be my third baby. But, but the bathroom is a place of quiet, restful escape. I sometimes hide out in there in the evenings with the water running and fan whirring and suddenly my parental obligations are temporarily on hold. Mila's screaming? Baby's crying? Whoops, can't hear them. It's all you Matt! It was during one of these solitary confinement moments that I realized I need white. And wood. And possibly dare I say it? Black, in my bathroom.

Here, let me show you.

Love the light wood and bright white on the left. Love the subway tile and black storage on the right. Finding a pretty bath vanity helps organize towels and toiletries, while also adding character to a space.

I like the simplicity of modern with straight, clean lines. The contemporary bathroom vanity is very mid-century modern and is sleek without being overly fussy. Then again, I like the rustic look of the wood paneling paired with a modern tub and sink and bohemian style rug.

I mean...wow. Matt stamped his seal of approval on this one, so apparently now we are moving to Mustique.

I dream about bathrooms ALL the time. Mostly because mine is the size of a thumbprint, but I'm picturing an amazing shower, a luxurious tub and LOTS of subway tile!

The kitchen is my number one priority, but the bathroom is definitely second. I love a nice, big open space to pamper myself in.

Girl, if I got paid to drool over bathroom and kitchen inspirations, I'd be a millionaire. I'm always thinking about how much nicer ours could be if we just tear everything out and start from scratch :) Love all these options! xo

Ha! I'm a big bathroom dreamer myself. I dream of having a big, big bathroom, gorgeous wallpaper, a big window overlooking the ocean (a bit hard living in NYC!), a gigantic bath tub, double sinks... I could go on and on and on. Le sigh...

you definitely are not the only one that dreams of what your bathroom might look like. I have a whole pinterest board full of images of bathrooms. :)

the kitchen, to me, is more important too. but a nice luxurious bathroom comes next. I'm more of a shower person, but a nice long hot bath in winter.... hmmmmm :)

I'm not usually one for "modern" design (as you can tell by the fact that I just used snotty quotation marks, lol), but I do love that wood paneled bathroom with the modern tub! It looks so relaxing!

Gorgeous round up! I am in love with the first image. I've always wanted to turn an old dresser/table/vintage piece of furniture into a vanity!

Holy bathrooms! I definitely dream about a heavenly space to soak in the tub...

I would happily take any of those! Sadly the bathroom where I live is disgusting. 1. It's super old so the tub is nasty (we do have a new toilet and vanity) and 2. I live with boys so it is gross.

Oh, I definitely dream about my bathroom too...I think the most important part would be actually having a tub I could take a bath in!

i am a real in&out bathroom gal, i prefer showers to baths; so for me the bathroom falls to the bottom of my list. of course a clean bathroom is important, but other than that, i am with you on the kitchen - that's where i dream big. however, i have never had a luxurious bathroom, though i am sure if i did have one i'd probably love it. a lot. but if i was into bathroom daydreams i think it would look a lot like these. i love the one from elle decor!
