The Non Outfit Post

9/09/2013

What's this you ask? It's called "32 Year Old Woman in Morning After Long Night." Do you like it? It's a new series I'm starting: The Faces of Sleep Deprivation. What was originally supposed to be here was a perfectly perfect outfit post. You know, where I'm sauntering down the street in my dress + heels + bag + awesome jewelry. That unfortunately did not happen because all of my outfits this weekend were covered in baby spit up, snot, peanut butter and dog drool. And at one point all four. So, you are left instead with a lame selfie snapped at 6am one morning, shortly after I mumbled something that rhymes with "bucket." Don't worry, a real outfit post will come at some point and it's going to knock your socks off.

Oh my word, this made me lol!!!! With a 10 month old I can relate, and the only thing you can do is laugh about it, otherwise you'll just break down and bawl. :) Thank you for a dose of reality!

I've sort of had my socks knocked off by the fact that you're doing all that and keeping it together!

"Phuket, Thailand" works, too ;) You still manage to look glowing and gorgeous despite sleep deprivation and stains. One hot mama! xo

This is so much better than a perfectly perfect outfit post! I'm not laughing at you, or with you (goodness knows I can't even begin to empathize), but I am laughing. Thanks :)

I can't even believe how ambitious your plans were about doing an outfit post and doing everything else you're doing right now!!! Thanks for the honesty and entertainment. And PS you look gorge w/o makeup!!!!! xoxo
