Prosciutto, Gouda and Basil Panini

6/27/2013

Do you want an easy, delicious summer dinner (or lunch)? Of course you do. Go to the store. Pick up a baguette, prosciutto, gouda cheese and fresh basil. Put them all together and heat in the oven for about six minutes or until the cheese has melted. Or if you're really fancy, put it in your panini press. Serve with a side of olives and a glass of Pinot Grigio. Buon appetito!

P.S. Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad! :)

I'm all about baguettes and cheese!! My favorite. I love going on picnics so I can use it as an excuse to eat gourmet sandwiches. The added warmth by the toaster is the perfect touch!

this looks super yummy. we have celiac, wheat allergy and intolerance at my house (bummer!) and the one thing i haven't tried making yet is my own bread. i think this just might make me do that. i even have a sorely neglected panini maker.
