Weekend Dreaming

Happy end of the week! Hooray! (As Mila would say, it's one of her favorite words lately). Every time I get up from a sitting position she shouts: "Hooray Mama!" Which, to be fair, does require a certain amount of effort and skill at this stage in my pregnancy, so I do appreciate the encouragement.

What are you darlings up to? Matt left yesterday for Hawaii. I am majorly bummed I can't go, but am happy that he and his friend Steve get some time to surf, hang out in the sun and attend a mutual friend's wedding. One day, we'll make it out there with Mila and Baby Boy. So anyway, that leaves Mila and I on a girl's weekend at home.

On our list of things to do:
Go to the beach.
Get frozen yogurt.
Read Go Dog Go 10 times 25 times.
Take Gorbie for walks.
Collect little BB balls that are scattered around a field near our house. These are Mila's gold nuggets. She is obsessed with the emerald green ones. I'll have to post a picture sometime, but it's basically like an Easter Egg hunt each time we go.
Get frozen yogurt. Oh did I already say that? Oops...guess we'll have to go again. ;)
Mommy alone time when Mila is sleeping = Awesome.
Also I am totally making this tonight for dinner!

Definitely want to see these two new independent films. And did you see Josephine Decker's Me The Terrible? So sweet.

I just got these sweet Skimmers from Madewell. They are perfect with a cute little striped dress.

Kate Upton for Vogue. I kind of have a girl crush!

I put together a vacation inspired post for Jillian while she's away in Greece! Jealous!

We talked about cute nursery decor earlier in the week, and here's some more from Tobe! Love the little hippo!

I helped put together some graphics for a new collaboration for Lulu & Georgia (with Alix Souriban of Princes & Crows). And it is one gorgeous collection of rugs. My favorite is Pomegranates. You can win one on The Everygirl!

Wasn't Kate Upton amazing for Vogue?! I wasn't a huge fan before but her cover feature changed my mind. Happy weekend!

You sound way more upbeat about the fact that our husbands are galavanting around a tropical island while we're at home with the kids (and working) than I am...... maybe I need to get some frozen yogurt, too. Ha! ;)

ps- love that Mila says "Horray!" So cute!
