Remember This.

4/19/2013

This week our country has borne witness to unspeakable tragedy and senseless loss. In the midst of such horrific activities it is sometimes hard to still believe that there is good in this world. But we go back to a little girl (who in the midst of one of the most appalling crimes against humanity our world has seen) simply said: "Despite everything I still believe that people are really good at heart." We also believe. Be well this weekend. Boston, you are in our thoughts.

This Dove commercial is seriously eye-opening. It seems beauty is really in the eye of the beholder, but maybe we should be kinder to ourselves. Thanks for sharing Elizabeth.

Thug Kitchen is all sorts of hilarious. Thanks Rema!

In case you missed it, we were featured on Mimosa Lane yesterday. Check out some of our favorite things!

And Jon Stewart has some moving words for Boston.

I love Marissa's blog (and all of her recipes). I made this the other night and it was so easy (and super delicious).

Speaking of magazines - Real Simple has some good tips on how to be more patient. Don't we all need this?

That Dove commercial is truly jarring. Makes me wonder how we all see ourselves...

People post links to websites that have (for example) live streaming football and they nearly always have .blogspot. in the link. When I follow these there is just match details and adverts, no football (even when I know the game is being played). Do I need to install something or sign up to something?.
