The Space to Be...

3/18/2013

I fell a little bit in love with the above dining space. It's like a bohemian mid-century modern in neutrals. And honestly that's kind of where I'm at with decor right now. Last year I was into color. And by color I mean COLOR. I wanted it everywhere. These days I'm gravitating toward much more muted tones. I love the look of bare hardwood floors, eclectic tribal prints in whites, blacks and grays and the sleek, no fuss lines of simple modern furniture. What about you? What's catching your eye lately?

I always waiver from total neutrals, to brights and prints of all kinds. That's why homes have so many rooms, right? To explore all facets of our decoration styles. Great inspiration!

Oh my how I love that space. I'm really drawn towards neutrals right now, but airy light neutrals like white, cream, beige, or soft grays. Of course little splashes of color are nice, too. :)

AH, I love that room! Sometimes I think my taste is too girly so I've been trying to open my mind to furniture and decor that isn't all white and pretty haha. This room is such a perfect mix! And that stool you picked out = I need it!
