She Will Be Missed

1/03/2013

This Christmas was a different one for my family. My paternal grandma passed away a few weeks ago and even though we didn't usually celebrate the holidays with her (she lived in Michigan, where my parents are from) it was tradition to call her and pass the phone around.

I love this photo of her, taken with my niece, her great granddaughter.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. The holidays can be terribly difficult, but it sounds like you have some wonderful memories. I lost my grandma the Tuesday before Thanksgiving this year, and it really can be tough.

I'm sorry for your loss lady <3 My grandpa passed away 2 years ago and it's still rough. I mean, the sadness passes but the hole is never totally filled. I always just remind myself of how lucky I am to be able to feel this way for someone I love though. It helps!
