Here are a few things brightening my Monday morning:
1. This is so true, but hard to remember sometimes. I've been making an effort to be more thankful.
2. We picked up some yellow tulips while getting groceries and they've been brightening up our kitchen ever since.
2. This Valentino dress is gorgeous. Anyone know of a more reasonably-priced copy?

That is GREAT advice for this monday morning. and like...im so not thrilled about this getting dark early business. I love the winter but I also like it to be light out.
Just YES to the first quote. So true. I'm also extremely depressed that I won't be leaving work when it's light out anytime soon :(

As we recover from Hurricane Sandy, those words mean the world to me. It's been absolutely crazy & life is far from normal yet but my family & friends are safe- that is all that matters!!!
Tulips! My husband brought home a bouquet of mums the other day that are brightening my kitchen. I might have to drop a hint about tulips!

that extra hour was nice but I am not looking forward to those early nights
I LOVED the extra hour yesterday! Then it was pitch black by 6pm and I was a little sad.
