Changes

How do you deal with change? I used to be much more regimented, and unable to roll with the punches as easily. But in the past few years I've taken a job in a new industry, in a different city, moved in with a boy (who is now my fiancé), got a puppy and started a blog. Oh, and, two of those things happened within the past month. Sometimes it all hits me and I realize that I'm nothing but excited about the future, I even have to remind myself to enjoy the present and not think about what's next. What about you? How do you deal with change?

Change is hard for me. It really is. Last year, we changed cities and I changed jobs (due to the move). It was really difficult, but it made me realize that being with loved ones is really my top priority. Sometimes change provides clarity.

I have found I enjoy life so much more if I just roll with the punches, allow change to happen, and find the good in it. A great lesson to learn :)

When it comes to change, I try to handle it as best I can. But sometimes it's totally necessary to just sit down and evaluate everything that's happening and try to figure out what the next best step is. It takes time to adjust, so you need to be flexible with yourself in giving that time.

I love CHANGE but I also am a firm believer that everything Happens for a Reason! You've got to roll with the punches and go where the wind takes you....Lifes a Journey that's meant to keep moving not remain stagnant!

I am one of those people that thrives on change...if there's not enough of it, I have to shake things up a little. Not so easy once you have young kids and a husband - but sometimes even the smallest changes can be just what you need.

I'm happy you deal with change this way. I hope to achieve what you've achieved which appears to be peace and acceptance with "the flow." I try to plan my life to the T and become extremely frustrated when things do go as planned. Unexpected changes send me into headless chicken panic-mode, unfortunately.
