Wedding Wednesday

10/31/2012

While in Michigan for my cousin's wedding, my maternal grandmother wanted to show me her wedding dress. Little did I know that, at the time, my whole family knew Ian was going to propose when we got home. Didn't she look lovely? Also, my brother Steve is a spitting image of my grandpa!

My grandparents walked down the aisle in 1948 which means they've been married, wait for it, 64 years. And they still dress up and slow dance in their living room on New Year's Eve. I know, I know.

Also, here's a wedding-related link: Sterling Style blogger and The Glitter Guide founder Taylor's wedding was featured on 100 Layer Cake this week.
