So clearly I've mentioned that Matt and I are planning a trip to Paris in the fall. Obviously I'm giddy...and I've begun the hunt for a place to stay. For those unaware, Paris is ridiculously expensive and hotel prices will surely make your bank account weep with sorrow. There is however something magical called AirB&B, which my friend Rema reminded me of the other day. She and her husband are staying in a little apartment on Ernest Hemmingway's street next month. Doesn't that sound romantic? Needless to say I've spent hours already perusing little spots for me and Matt. These are some of the ones on my wishlist. The prices per night range from $90 to $127 per night for a fully furnished real life Parisian flat! Where would you stay darlings? Any recommendations?

Oh goodness please put me in your luggage and bring me too? What a dream to travel to Paris :) Those photos show such adorable little spaces to stay in too! Good luck finding the perfect abode for your time away xo
Three! Pick number three! And that is a brilliant idea. I definitely need to remember!
That's the way to go! I've always stayed at hotels in Paris but have dreamed about renting a flat one day. I know it's much more affordable too. Doesn't look like you can make a bad choice here :) xoxo
ooo what a fantastic idea! much more fun than staying in a boring hotel too!
Oh, Paris- how amazing. I don't think you can go wrong with any of these choices! Good luck~
I love the idea of staying in an apartment, and the ones on your wishlist look pretty awesome! Unfortunately I have no recommendations as I've never been. I'm sure you'll have a fabulous time no matter where you're staying though :)
Hi Al :)
I wish we would have done AirBnB (was it even around when Ryan and I went?) However, We loved the Hotel Monte Carlo. I think they had a wide range of rooms and some shared and not shared facilities, we opted for the bargain rooms. It was a great location, good walking distance from most everything, and it was in the theater district. Have fun!

I have never heard of that but what a great idea. Ugh I'm so excited for you!!!
Ooh how exciting! Flat #3 looks so airy and comfortable, but the sleeping loft in #2 would be a fun change of pace. Tough choices!
are these photos of the actual rooms? they look super cute! and such a fantastic price! i stayed at a bed and breakfast which wasn't too pricey. if i can remember the name i'll let you know!
Thank you SO MUCH for sharing this! The BF and I desperately want to go to Paris in the fall and the main thing holding us back is the expensive hotels. Checking this out right now!
oh wow thats not a bad price at all! Maybe I need to take a trip to Paris :)
Oh wow, what an amazing deal! The first picture looks exactly like a place I'd want to stay. Very eclectic bohemian, and of course, Parisian chic!
I highly recommend the Bedford Hotel in Paris. Rates are approximately $150 but soo adorable and the staff is so friendly!!
Oh Alexa you must be so excited for this trip! Those prices are insanely good!
ahh i hadn't heard of airb&b - thanks for sharing!! the wallpaper in the 3rd space is gorg!

I love the look of #1 or #3!
Oh how fun!!! I am so so jealous! Ian and I are planning a trip for our 30th birthdays, which obviously is not for a few more years..boo! You are going to have so much fun!
I would sincerely love to rent a place on our next trip. It seems so much more cozy and you'll feel like a local. You'll have to keep us posted on what you chose. Paris - how awesome!
Eeek you are going to Paris!! How exciting Alexa! I'm going in October this year too + have been looking on AirBnB too! Another site I found called Wimdu (similar concept) is also really great. I'm looking for somewhere to stay in St Germain as everyone I talk to says its the best place to be! xx
All of those look stunning! The prices aren't bad either.

I've heard renting an apartment like this ideal. We searched for deals on Kayak.com. Just be sure you are familiar with the locations of where you stay. We ended up staying in a city outside of Paris (called Clamart) but it was just a 10 minute train ride in every day.
Paris is so expensive and so beautiful at the same time it's crazy. I always stayed in hotels and was lucky to find cuties that wouldn't kill my bank account. The prices you mentioned are pretty good by the way. So why not? Would be a totally different experience.
xoxo
Thinking of Paris makes me smile...thinking of upcoming trips makes me smile. This post? Mega-grins :) I did a little sleuthing and it appears Mr. Hemingway lived at 74 Rue du Cardinal Lemoine...we'll be at #59! Eek! BEYOND excited. We'll tell the City of Light to prepare for the your arrival! :)
The perfect way to see Paris–can you imagine anything better than making breakfast in your darling flat?
How wonderfully romantic!! Happy Hunting!!
