Heavy Heart
We know most of you read blogs as a mental escape from the trials and tribulations of everyday life, however big or small, and we generally keep things light because the blog is an escape for us, too. But in light of the shooting yesterday in Wisconsin and the recent tragedy in Colorado, we want to express our condolences for the lives that were lost and our optimism that we can learn from these tragedies.

Thanks for this post. Sometimes watching the news can be so hard, as their is so much suffering.
I think its good to stop and reflect and think about how we can proactively help our suffering neighbors and friends. So hard to see things like this happen in America, and often makes me think about how brief our life is and to make the most of it.
way too much sadness out there recently.
I'm glad you addressed the tragedy at the Sikh temple in Wisconsin. I have felt today that it's been somewhat ignored or unacknowledged by a lot of people who posted or tweeted about Aurora immediately. It's such a tragedy. It needs to end.
I didn't even hear about the Wisconsin shooting until. What a sad time. Thank you for posting this.
Too much sadness lately! :( What a beautiful post to reflect on the lives that were lost and loved!
Thank you for this. It is so so sad and truly heartbreaking.
I absolutely love this post and am still so devastated over the fact of how someone could do such a thing. It is important to reflect on those whom were lost in this tragedy as well as the lives that were changed forever....
