Oh Friday, I am
so thrilled to see you. It's been a long week, my friends. Tonight I'm meeting up with my sweet friend Nikki for dinner out. As in away from the house. As in removed from the vicinity of tiny little people with incredibly loud opinions, who are also messy eaters, and would prefer an episode of Barney over the Daily Show. You know they are sweet and all, but it's not like you can carry on a conversation about the state of international affairs or for that matter get into a giggle fit together when discussing certain passages in Fifty Shades of Grey.
That is what a best friend is for. And I'm glad I have her.
The outfit above was inspired by the bicycle shirt. I would wear this on a bike in Paris. Never mind that I am terrible at riding bikes and that I look my head looks ridiculous in hats. Just...pretend. Head over to
