Friday Wanderlust

Whenever we go out of town, the following work week feels never-ending, does that happen to you? Anyway, even though we just went on a weekend getaway and I've been lucky enough to visit more countries than I can count on both hands, I've been consumed by wanderlust lately. There are just so many places I want to see, yet so little time (and, these trips aren't free, my friends). While I do think it's good to always have something to look forward too, I'm going to try to enjoy home more. We live in San Diego, after all. Have a good weekend, whether you're traveling or staying put.

Joanna's husband wrote this article about making friends over 30. I'm not over 30 but I've noticed that making friends and maintaining friendships takes more effort post-college for sure.
The Everygirl has a Rifle Paper Co. giveaway going on. It's not an understatement saying I want everything.
Speaking of giveaways, we're offering up a tassel garland from The Flair Exchange.
Taylor is getting hitched in 15 days!
Loving this simple look I spotted on casual glamorous: boyfriend jeans, airy white top and nude wedges. I will be replicating this over the weekend.
I know I just organized my jewelry collection, but I'm loving this DIY project from a little glass box.
Nikki from Cupcakes for Breakfast introduced me to photographer Michael Graydon and I'm just as smitten with his work.
Speaking of photography, a co-worker just bought a Canon Rebel and I could hardly conceal my envy. I desperately need one!
Speaking of things I need, how about everything in Lauren's roundup of Jonathan Adler items on L.A. in the Bay.

So true, Mac and I have been trying to take advantage of living in Southern California. Movies on the beach, margaritas, great Mexican food!

Work weeks after a vacay are the absolute worst. Luckily we live in a gorgeous town that other people travel far to see! Weekends in SD are pretty amazing.

I feel the same way about all of the amazing outdoors things I could do just outside of Boston. I really need to get out and do more with my weekends! I hope you have a lovely weekend girl!

Oh crazy, I heard Joanna's husband interviewed on NPR but had no idea that's who he was! I had made a mental note to read the article, so thanks for the reminder. :)

i hear you. I'm also trying to enjoy what I have rather than seeking something new all the time.
