I bought the gray J. Crew top (top photo) years ago, and it's one of my work staples. I gave away a similar top (yellow, tuxedo front) from J. Crew and still regret it. Recently, I paired the gray top with electric blue skinnies (also J. Crew), nude heels, and threw my hair into a top knot (truthfully because I had time to either go for a run or wash my hair and I chose the former) for work.
For casual dinner and drinks last weekend, I paired the same skinnies with sandals and a bright green top (I love the cut-out back) from Forever 21.
