Hey There Friday!

6/01/2012

Even though it was a short week, I was still anticipating Friday and it didn't seem like it could come fast enough. We have big plans this weekend, my friends. We are taking Mila for her first camping trip tomorrow night and I tell you, it will be an adventure. I'm not sure if I've conveyed this on the blog, but Mila has a very hard time adjusting to new surroundings and people. What she likes most in the entire world is staying home with just mama and doggie and reading books on her daybed or collecting flowers in her bucket in the front yard. This is cute and great and all, but Matt and I feel that it's important for her to experience things outside of her comfort zone. We are packing the car with all of the necessities, including and perhaps most importantly, Mr. Hop Hop the purple bunny, and the Doggies book by Sandra Boyton. Wish us luck and I shall report back to you with all of the details on Monday! xo

Love Jordan's family photos of her apartment in Paris.

Beth Lauren's jewels on BaubleBar. I die.

Lovely organizational details on Little White Whale.

Oh my goodness. I want these origami lamps for Mila's room!

Love this post on Fifi Cheek about raising a little girl.

Don't forget to enter our giveaway from Poppy Treffry, you get three lovely goodies this time around!

And next week we are so excited to welcome Audrey of This Little Street who will be sharing some sweet things about the lovely month of June!

How fun, Mila's first camping trip! We're going next weekend- I'm a little nervous about how Izzy is going to do now that she screams every night before bed....
We'll have to plan a trip together again soon!

How was camping?

My husband plans on taking Max camping in a few years (he's only about 17 months) for a "guy trip"!
