Remember, in this post, how I said I wanted to take cues from the blogosphere and display my jewelry? Well, with a quick trip to Urban Outfitters for the tiered beauty pictured above and a quick trip into our kitchen (a cheese plate was transformed into more jewelry display space), I've just about finished. My jewelry box (not pictured) is no longer overflowing and I can actually see all of my pieces. I'm quite pleased with the results (it's fun to pick out pieces each day), and Ian seems to be OK with giving up more of his counter space (he's a saint).

Good for you - I should organize mine better too!
What a beautiful idea!
Ohhh fun! Pretty jewelry!
lovin' these ideas!!!
It's all so pretty, why not display it? I sit in my studio every day with jewelry all over the place so in my closet, it's tucked away but that means I almost never remember to wear it :)
Yep, I'm the jewelry shop owner who never remembers to wear jewelry.
Love, love, lovin' it! I did this a little while ago with my fave pieces and have yet to get a suitable home for the necklaces...maybe I need to head to U.O??? (c:
Your jewelry looks great!!
That's so fun! I have a similar setup - only I have too much stuiff to display it all, so some of it I have in cute boxes, and others on display, sort of like yours.
It's so fun! I love looking at the little glass vintage dish I have my rings on and pick one - it really does feel sort of like I was browsing for new jewelry :-)
Looks great! I made myelf a place to hang earrings and bracelets and I think it turned out great:

It's always nice to personalize things a bit. I wish I could find a solution for the rest of my things, there's just so much STUFF! (I guess the solution would be to purge, but even though I'm fairly good about doing that with my closet, it's so much harder with my jewelry!)
