Happy Tuesday friends! Today's Color Collective is making me feel like I need a trip to the beach. In Tahiti maybe. Or Fiji. Today we celebrate the hues of aqua and turquoise. There is something about these tones that brings me peace of mind. They are subtle and fresh, and if color had a smell their scent would be sea salt and fresh linens.

I love, love, love aqua and turquoise, but my husband isn't a fan. Maybe it's because I always like to pair it with pink?!

I have a plastic turqoise ring and i love it. And almost every time i wear it, people comment on it. It's such a happy colour.

I certainly do love these colors. Like you said, there's something about them that brings peace of mind. I had my bedroom decorated in these colors a few years ago, and I felt like I was in some sort of calm, serene, sea cottage every time I was in it :)

the kids and i always collect sea glass so we have jars of it on our bookshelves - makes me happy and reminds me of salty air, good times on the beach and coronas with lime!
