Hawaii is full of beauty and wonder. I went to school on Oahu and the beauty never ceased to amaze me.
we LOVED the road to hana. i am obsessed with going back, we went almost 2 yrs ago now on our honeymoon. i'm so jealous of your hawaii times! fun to see :)
(we took the road less traveled to get back from Hana... where you just keep going and travel around the island the other way instead of turning around and going back down the road "from" hana... it was INSANE and scary. and awesome. i hope you survived the curvy crazy roads and the way back.. however you went!)
we are doing the road to hana in may, when we go back! i'm totally stoked to check out all the waterfalls.. and, of course, to compare the coastline with my absolute favorite: big sur (:
It looks gorgeous!! Ive wanted to take that trip as well, those waterfalls are spectacular!

When I was 14 my family and I took a trip to Maui and drove on the road to Hana. My brother, who decided to play Video Games on his Gameboy, instead of look out at the scenery, barfed as soon as we got to the stopping point. He was too car sick to even enjoy it. That'll teach him for ignoring Mother Nature.
Maui is beautiful. Come check it out the road to Hana. Make sure you get a good guide or you will miss a lot if you only have 1 day planned.
