The First, But Not the Last

2/09/2012

I don't really talk about it here on the blog, but about four days a week, I lace up my running shoes and clock around three to five miles, depending on how much time I have. Ian runs when he can't surf, and if we're lucky we run together. This Sunday, we ran our first race together, a 10K that took us along the 101 from Encinitas to Cardiff and back. Maybe a half marathon will be next?

Congrats girl! This looks like an awesome race! I ran a 10K in November, but I've taken a little break from running and I need to get back into it! :)

Very cool! I'm doing the Shamrock Shuffle 8k at the end of March out here. Such a fun and great way to get some exercise!

And def try a half -- I found it more challenging than the full marathon! But if you choose a good one (I did a Rock N Roll series half... def look them up) it can be a really good time!
