When I arrived back home after the holidays I was greeted by a box on my doorstep, a gift from my friend Kristine. Opening it up was pretty much the best thing ever, because it was a Bummer Basket!
The Brooklyn-based company puts together "care packages for unfortunate life events." Kristine just thought it was a cute idea (she was right!) and sent one to each of our girlfriends for Christmas. My Bummer Basket (pictured above) came with a sock monkey, a grow-your-own-Xmas-tree, brownies, cupcake pops, a chocolate bar, a stemless wine glass and more.
