Hello Sweet Friday.

12/09/2011

I am dreaming of European Christmas markets. Have you been? We went to one in Florence and loved the twinkling lights, mulled wine, brats and local, homemade crafts. There's something about rushing down to the mall in suburbia and gulping down a Starbucks hot chocolate and buying the same sweater as 500 other people have that just sort of squashes the spirit. Do you have sweet little holiday markets where you live? Maybe I can come visit. ;)

Here's your holiday links! Enjoy!

Loving Sarah Jane's office gift roundup!

Mocha Coconut Fudge. Oh my.

I love this red moose cushion cover. How sweet.

Beautiful wrapping paper.

Love this gorgeous green skirt from TopShop. Found on Coral Cafe.

Annnd...we have an awesome giveaway for a darling pillow. Enter now!

No, I have never been to one but they sound so charming. I don't do the mall, well I try REALLY hard not to anyway.

Oh, these pictures are truly magical! I would love to visit a European Christmas market - that would be lovely :) My friend in Austria was telling me that they have Christmas Punch on the streets now (via vendors) and that the markets smell divine...isn't that perfect? Ottawa has a lovely downtown market and right now the stalls are Christmasy - it's so festive!

I love European markets, period. I've never been to Europe during Christmas, though, but we're planning to in the next couple years.

At some point in the future, I'll have to break with the tradition of spending Christmas at my parents' home and opt for one in Europe instead. I'd love to wander their holiday markets, especially if they're this charming!

It's a dream of mine to go to the Christmas markets in Europe someday. Deadlines at work will prevent this until I have a new job or retire, but seriously, someday these will be my pictures. :)

Their quaint little towns help too! We need a town square that doesn't ruin traffice when people actually utilize it!
