Now that Thanksgiving is over, the home I grew up in is slowly transforming into a winter wonderland by my parents. Each year, my dad puts together these tiny Christmas villages, with fake snow, tiny street lights, the whole nine yards. He gets a new accessory each season and he even puts a house or two in our bedrooms for when we come home for the holidays. The house looks magical and I can't wait for my niece and nephew to see it!

How neat! I love the Christmas and all the traditions it brings.
My grandmother did that, miss it. I bet your dad's looks beautiful.
Your Dad sounds so sweet. How thoughtful.
What an adorable tradition - I LOVE! :)
I love Christmas and all the decorations! My mom used to set up a little village, my sister and I would always play with the fake snow!

my mom does the same thing and i love seeing her house all decorated since i'm quite the underachiever in that department.

I do a Christmas village every year, too. I started when I was little because I wanted to live in a quaint little village, and now it's tradition at my house.
I love the little villages! I am still trying to expand my village (right now its just a toy shop, bookstore, and quaint family home)
