Sparkle
Lovelies...let's talk wedding rings. The above one is mine, three diamonds, with tiny rubies around the band. The diamonds come from Matt's family, dating all the way back to his Great Great Grandmother. Isn't that amazing? Red is one of my favorite colors, so I added the rubies after we got married and I love the splash of color. What does your ring look like, or if you are hoping to receive one soon, what do you envision it to look like?
Here are some other gorgeous ones:
Simple/Antique
Black
Emerald
Snake
P.S. Yes, that is my bouquet. My mom saved it and there is something about the smell of dried roses that is just wonderfully old and fantastic.

I love how much a ring tells about the bride and groom!

My rings were EXACTLY what I wanted :)
It's just goregous! What a treaasure to have her ring :) xoxo
Wow, it's gorgeous! My wedding band is a replica of a poesy ring in the Ashmolean museum from the 1650s. The historian in me insisted on it!

I love this! I hate how the excitement of the engagment ring wears off after a while. Mine looks very similar to a Legacy ring from Tiffanys. Its my favorite thing.
I absolutely love the styling in that photo: your bouquet and wedding ring... My wedding ring is very simple, one diamond encrusted in the band. It represents my style perfectly. Love yours. :)

That's a beautiful ring, and I love the idea of having heirloom diamonds in it. My engagement ring and wedding band are from the 1920s. We bought them from a vendor in Antiquarius, an antique jewelry store in LA (before it burned down.)
Your ring is beautiful! Love the pop of color with the rubies - makes it very unique.
WOW...what a stunning ring, darling. I love the pop of colour as well. Kisses and hugs.
Very very pretty. I love seeing other people's wedding rings. That's so sweet that the diamonds are from the family. Very romantic.

There is a ring post madness going on in the blogging world today! (you, mo pie please & me!) Your ring is absolutely gorgeous!!! I love the story behind the diamonds and the addition of the rubies is just so lovely :) xoxoxo brynn
That's awesome that your ring is passed down from family! But I like that you added the rubies to make it more your own :) I love looking at people's wedding rings! I love my rings, they are always what I wanted :)
Stunning... absolutely love it!
gorgeous ring.. i have my bouquet also but never really knew how/where to put it so it stays beautiful forever and doesn't get crushed..
how do you guys go about with that?
Thanks for the comments everyone!
Ami - It was on the top shelf in my old bedroom at my parents. My mom put it in a corner all to itself. Ha.
Beautiful ring, Alexa! My wedding band is just little diamonds along the top (not all the way) and my engagement ring was just a simple princess cut solitaire. They're nothing special by any means but I still love them!
Well, this is my engagement ring: http://www.decoybetty.com/2011/09/he-liked-it-so-he-put-ring-on-it.html
I am going to use it as my wedding band until our real wedding next year (even though we'll already be married) at least.
How gorgeous-I love the red! Mine is an oval stone in a delicate halo setting in rose gold, and I can't ever stop looking at it!
What ainique ring and even better with all of the history behind it! I have my heart set on an asscher cut diamond with little diamonds all around it.
I love rubies!! My engagement ring is a sapphire :)
Love your ring - the rubies are so unique!

Your ring is beautiful, and I love the additions of the rubies - what a great heirloom. Will you pass them on to your daughter or daughter-in-law too?
So beautiful! I love sentiment. Mine is a solitare round cut...in a temporary setting. I still haven't picked one, 3 years later!
