Holiday Wish List: Sally from A PIECE of TOAST

11/22/2011

Remember this post from the lovely Molly from A PIECE of TOAST? Well, her sister and blogging partner Sally is sharing her holiday wish list. Enjoy!

A big, big thank you to Kirby + Alexa for having my sister and I as guests on their blog!  I had so much fun making this list - it made me all the more excited for Christmas to be here!

01. I am dying for a new pair of boots.  Not just for this fall and winter, but for many more to come.  When it comes to purchases like boots, I look for longevity more than anything.  Cole Haan shoes are beyond comfortable, great quality and timeless.  I love the shape of the Air Whitley Tall Boot.  The only question now is - grey or black?

02. Calypso Janine Cashmere Tee.  I have been stalking this sweater on Calypso's site for quite sometime.  All three colors are such soft, pale color and literally look like cotton candy heaven.  Something like this is perfect for our ever changing Texas weather and I could wear it with a million different things.  Hoping they go on sale (Calypso has the BEST sales) before Christmas, so I could get one of each:)  Wishful thinking!

03. I blogged about my fascination over the Clairsonic last week and after the overwhelming responses I am now positive that this guy belongs in my bathroom.  Visualizing the prettiest skin on the planet in my future.

04. Coffee table books.  I would love to add Black and White and In Between to my growing collection of coffee table books.  You can never have enough and they will be good to have someday when I have a house full of bookshelves.

05. Molly has these brushed gold vermeil disc earrings in two different sizes from Calypso and I have been dying for my own ever since she bought hers.  I couldn't find the gold on Calypso's website, but I know they have them in the store.  As far as online shopping, I found them here!

06. Rodin Oil.  I love, love, love this stuff.  Liquid gold.  Literally.  Only problem is that, at $150 a bottle, the oil always get pushed down on my list of things to purchase for myself.  Probably very unlikely that I'll go out buy it for myself, but it would make a perfect gift!

07. You could say that I get a little fur-obsessed when the winter months roll around.  There is something about pretty furs (whether real or fake) that seem so snuggly and make me wish for the snowy mountains.  This Madewell circle scarf is screaming my name.  Would spice up an entire outfit!

As much as I love making a list each Christmas of what I would love to have, I am mostly looking forward to spending the holidays with my family.  Living 8 hours away from home means that I only make a few trips back each year and Christmases are the absolute best with our HUGE family.

Yes yes YES on the clarisonic! I got mine this summer and my skin has totally changed for the better. I hemmed and hawed about the purchase for ages, because, let's face it, that thing is crazy expensive! But I'm so glad I got it. Absolutely!

I have this same book on my wishlist too! Can't wait to pour through it. So true about the holidays as a time to spend with family. I only wish holidays were more than a day long, they seem to go by too quickly!

Buy the Clairisonic! You will not regret it. I was skeptical too until I bought one. It has changed my skin! Free of breakouts and dullness, what else can a girl want?
