Little White Corvette

8/05/2011

A long time ago my dad owned a little yellow corvette. He sold it after he moved to San Francisco and met my mom. He bought a station wagon. (There are some choices that are made in the fog of love that may not always be the best ones).

At my cousin's wedding last Saturday, the bride was escorted to the ceremony in a little white corvette. During the reception my dad and the father of the groom hopped in for a photo op. I love the bottom photo so much, it makes my heart smile.

What makes you feel nostalgic?

I love that little thought...cherries make me nostalgic because we had a huge cherry tree in our backyard when I was growing up and every summer we would harvest *thousands* of cherries. It makes me smile just thinking about it! Love that pic of Dad in the corvette, too (c:
