Croissants

7/05/2011

Doesn't this breakfast look dreamy? In college, Jacqueline and I would order croissants from the campus coffee shop in an exaggerated French accent, which we thought was hilarious. The students working at the coffee shop? Not so much.

I hope everyone had a lovely holiday weekend! I am exhausted and sun burnt and wish I could do it all over again!

What is it about college and croissants? I used to live on chocolate croissants! Glad to hear you had a great fourth--I think I'm sunburnt too!

Hahaha I love the story of your "french" accents! My brother, who is always a funny guy, loves to order food at a drive-through using a very heavy accent as if he can't understand what they're saying back to him in English. Then when he pulls up to get the food, speaking in English with no accent whatsoever, they are mystified. When I'm sitting in the passenger seat, it's rather embarrassing and hard to keep a straight face! He, on the other hand, has no problem keeping a straight face at all, which makes it even funnier! ;)

Glad to hear you had a nice weekend! And I love the thought of ordering in an exaggerated French accent.
