Dinner Last Week


I can follow a recipe (although every time I have tried to make key lime pie - Ian's favorite - I have failed. I blame it on not having an electric mixer) but Ian is good at improvising. The other night we found ourselves with pork loin and no seasoning so he made a rub using brown sugar, cumin and some rosemary from the kitchen herb garden he got me for Valentine's Day. The result? Delicious! We had it with a salad and potato pancakes with applesauce on the side. Not a fancy dinner but yummy.
