Little Glimpses of the New Pad

{Living Room}

{Dining Area, mantle and fireplace}

{Baby's Room}

As promised here are some photos of inside. The two brown chairs we recently purchased from Cost Plus World Market and the large bookcase against the back wall is from Ikea (assembled by my darling Matt). The photos you see on the wall are from Bali, which we purchased on our Honeymoon and I'm in love with my little red table, which I found in an antique store in Marin County.

As it turns out the photo above the fireplace is also from Bali (you can tell we had a crush on the artwork there), the pillows are from the World Market and that French clock is another antique store find. The pewter pitcher, creamer and sugar bowl are from the Crescent Silverware Manufacturing Company of New York. These date from the 1920s and were a gift from my Aunt Jackie.

The last photo is of the baby's room and it's still a work in progress. The red dresser is from Ikea and the rug is from Target. Matt found the adorable little hot air balloon at a shop online and it fits perfectly with our travel theme. Once we have our maps on the wall and Bud's antique airplane propeller I'll post some more shots!

Lovely, Lex, just lovely!! The bookcase came out awesome! Definitely looks better all put together, than in little pieces on the floor. Ha! Can't wait to visit again! :)

They had those hot air balloons in a little shop in Dublin and they have been on my checklist in case we have a baby someday- I fell in love with them immediately! The whole place looks great- congrats!
