Kitchen Dreams

If there is one thing more exasperating than a wife who can cook and won't and that is a wife that can't cook and will ~Robert Frost

I'm going to editorialize here and add "husband" to the quote because I know we all share household duties these days. But listen, I love to cook. Before I got pregnant, I'd pour myself a glass of wine, put on my Anthropologie apron and scour my Cooking Light mags for scrumptious recipes. These days, it's more like a love affair with Trader Joe's frozen food section with a side of iced tea. Nevertheless, sweet readers, I dream of kitchens. Big kitchens. With large sinks. And miles of counter space. Sometimes I see brick and natural wood. Other times white with a touch of french country. Either way, when the time comes that Matt and I purchase our own house, you know what room I will be oogling.
