On our last trip to visit Ian's family, we spread out newspapers on the tables outside at his aunt and uncle's house and had as much baked crab as we could crack open and eat. I love food that you have to work for, like cracking open crab or pistachios.

Yesterday, Ian and I drove to Long Beach Island in New Jersey for lunch, sharing raw clams, crab cake sliders and crab and artichoke dip. Yum.
